ABOUT ME
I've tried to live a life that was exciting enough that someone might want to write a book about me. If that ever happens, I hope the opening line will sound a little like this: "She narrowly missed being able to claim an elevator in the U.S. Capitol as her birthplace. Instead, she was born in a place called Foggy Bottom."
WHAT I'VE DONE
These days, my passion for letterforms and surface design are put to good use through my shop, Number Five Print Co., and a variety of client work. I'm able to do my work and balance the craziness of family life with the help of my favorite teammate, an endless queue of podcasts, and a good IPA. It can't get more exciting than that!
WHAT I DO
I have a BFA in Fibers and Printmaking from Old Dominion University. During three of my semesters at Old Dominion, I was able to spend time researching and cataloging the Art Department's enormous letterpress collection. It was a dream job and solidified my love for type and design.
